The market is located on the corner of Sunset and Cahuenga. The building is a joint market and board game cafe. It is right across the street from the coveted ArcLight Cinemas Hollywood theater and just two blocks south from the heavily used Hollywood and Vine bus stop. The LA film school is just steps away from this site so students can get immersed in games and fresh produce amidst their studies. The market is the main program and the game cafe was chosen to occupy the remainder of the space. The design of the building was derived from a series of studies on the properties of foam sheets.
